Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, just moments from Farnham, The Palm House is a destination designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying great food in beautiful surroundings. Since opening in 2021, we’ve created a space that blends relaxed countryside charm with a fresh, modern dining experience.
Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, brunch, lunch or our signature afternoon tea, every visit is centred around quality, seasonality, and thoughtful hospitality. Our menus are carefully crafted using fresh ingredients, with regularly changing specials that reflect the best of each season.

"I have owned this building since 2003, renting it to external companies and I dreamed of one day occupying it myself as a Restaurant as it's such an amazing space. I've now had the time to create my very own unique restaurant to complement The Packhouse."
Alison has owned The Packhouse for almost 20 years. Alison has worked in various industries and also spent 6 years serving as a Fire Fighter for Surrey Fire & Rescue Service. If you have enjoyed the restaurant and The Packhouse, then you may also like the holiday homes that she has created in Scotland, Devon and Italy.

Our Paint Colours
Dark Blue = Dock Blue
Light Grey = Inox
Both Little Greene colours, mixed by Johnstones Paint, available at Brewers
The wood panelling is a durable emulsion and the upper walls are a normal emulsion which is why there is a slight difference in the colour between the 2 finishes.
Our Location
We are located in the Surrey Hills countryside, 5 minutes drive from the pretty english Village of Farnham and 15 minutes from the busy city centre of Guildford. We are based on site next to The Packhouse store which opens 10am - 5.30pm.
During the evening The Packhouse Store is closed allowing for plentiful hassle free parking, with a big enough car park for over a hundred vehicles making us an ideal location to host a large but intimate private corporate party.
With Blue Badge sign posted step free access from the car park directly to the Restaurant front door, as well as a ground floor accessible toilet.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs - With clear identification, are very welcome anywhere on site including the restaurant, courtyard, garden pods, The Coffee House Takeaway and Packhouse Store.
ESA and pet dogs - Are not allowed in any indoor areas of The Palm House Restaurant and Packhouse Store. However pets are very welcome inside The Coffee House Takeaway and in the sheltered seating areas of our Garden Pods. During the summer months well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our restaurant courtyard.
Dog Bowls - with fresh water are available on request from The Coffee House counter.If you are being accompanied by your dog, please advise us at the time of your table booking.
