Senior Sous Salary commensurate with experience

Our fabulous Surrey restaurant, ‘The Palm House’, requires a senior sous chef to join our successful team.

The Palm House Restaurant is sited on-site and adjacent to a popular retail outlet and as such benefits from almost guaranteed footfall.

As Senior Sous you will help to create and develop menus, manage suppliers, kitchen activities, adhere to strict food hygiene, allergen and Health & Safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a high-footfall restaurant background, with a proven ability to lead a dynamic and growing team. Good leadership and IT skills are a must, together with a desire to successfully grow the business further through their passion to deliver great food within a unique dining experience.

The Restaurant is currently open 9.30 - 4.30 every day + occasional evening functions. So we need a chef to have weekend and evening flexibility.

Starting salary range is £25K  + Tronc which is currently and additional £6500 approx Salary increase will then be further reviewed 6 months from employment, based on performance.
