An opportunity has arisen for you to join our amazing team at The Palm House restaurant.
Established in 2021, and launched in a building that has provided exceptional food since 2016 we are on the same site as The Packhouse interior and lifestyle store which is located within the Surrey Hills between Guildford and Farnham. This iconic site has been attracting visitors since the 1990's.

The restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas, with no regular evening service but we do offer Private Hire on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
You will be fully supported with an extensive induction to ensure you hit the ground running in your post. There has never been a better time to lead this business or the team.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven leader to be our next F&B Manager. Providing exceptional customer service, hospitality should be your passion.

Day to day:

Work with and continue to develop our team to ensure they have the passion and dedication to deliver warm and friendly hospitality at the highest level.

Business and financial acumen to generate and interpret reports from in house ePOS software

Have a commercially minded approach to drive restaurant sales and to be the top-end quality restaurant in the area.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced food and beverage manager who is commercially minded, people focussed, with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate your team from the front.
You will have extensive knowledge of running a full-service restaurant. Business acumen, experience of budgeting, forecasting, as well as working to and achieving KPIs is essential. As a pro-active leader you will have a genuine passion for providing warm hospitality, be an innovative thinker and have a great eye for detail.
In addition to the restaurant you will also oversee the onsite coffee shop and private hire of the building.

Salary/Benefits: Dependent on experience with an excellent benefits package
Hours per week: 45 hours per week
Experience: At least 2 years experience as F&B manager or similar role.
Evidence of meeting financial targets.
